Tragic Train-School Van Collision Kills Three Children in India
The crash happened in Semmankuppam, located approximately 204 kilometers south of Chennai, the state capital of Tamil Nadu.
Authorities reported that the school van was severely damaged in the impact.
Additionally, a 55-year-old bystander suffered injuries at the scene after coming into contact with an electrical wire that snapped during the accident.
Early police investigations indicate the van driver insisted on crossing the gate despite warnings, which led to the catastrophic collision.
