Russia Says It Took Control of Ukraine’s Kamyshevakha
According to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry, the operation was conducted by the Vostok (East) group of forces.
The ministry also reported a massive attack overnight involving “high-precision ground-, air-, and sea-based weapons,” alongside strike drones targeting “enterprises of the missile and aviation industry and military airfields of Ukraine.”
"The objectives of the strike have been achieved; all designated targets have been hit," the ministry declared.
In response, Ukraine reportedly launched air attacks, with Russian air defense systems intercepting one guided aerial bomb, four long-range Neptune guided missiles, and 233 drones overnight, the ministry added.
Ukraine has not yet commented on Russia’s claims, and independent verification remains difficult amid the ongoing conflict.
