Missile Debris Lands in Central Israel Amid Widening Conflict with Iran
Fragments were reported to have fallen in the cities of Shoham, Rishon LeZion, Lod, and Ness Ziona near Tel Aviv. No injuries or property damage have been reported so far.
Tensions in the region have intensified since Israel and the US began coordinated attacks on Iran on February 28, which have so far resulted in roughly 1,300 deaths, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In retaliation, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations, claiming these actions are aimed at “US military assets.”
